Michael Sass Hansen

Michael is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Computational Radiology Laboratory at Childrens Hospital Boston. He received his PhD in Medical Image Analysis from the Technical University of Denmark in October 2009 and holds an MSc in applied mathematics. Over the course of his PhD Michael worked on medical shape analysis, diffeomorphic shape models and sparse methods for describing local shape differences, one-class classification based on support vectors and hierarchical structures, medical image registration using alternate parameterizations and free form deformations based on multivariate splines.
