Ariel Gout is a Research Associate in the the Computational Radiology Laboratory (CRL) in the Department of Radiology at Children's Hospital Boston. She was previously a Research Fellow in the Neurology Department.
Ariel Gout received a MD as a Pediatrician in 1998, from University of Paris VI, France. She was "Chef de Clinique-Assistant" in Pediatric Neurology at Kremlin Bicetre Hospital (Paris France) from 2001 to 2005. She received a PhD in Cognitive Sciences (entitled "Early steps of lexical acquisition in infants") in 2001, from the "laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique" ( CNRS, EHESS, Paris France).
Ariel's main focus is currently the investigation of brain development in preterm infants through Diffusion Tensor Imaging and Diffusion Tensor Tractography.
