Moti Freiman is an Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School, a member of the Computational Radiology Laboratory (CRL) at Children's Hospital Boston. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, in December 2010 and holds a BSc in mathematics and computer science from Bar-Ilan university, Israel, and an MSc in computer science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. During his PhD he developed methods for efficient integration of shape models into registration and segmentation algorithms with focus on abdominal CT applications. The algorithms developed were applied to segmentation of the liver, kidney, and vascular structures and to multi-modal image registration of the brain.
Moti currently works on development of model-fitting, registration and segmentation algorithms for quantitative body Diffusion-Weighted MR Imaging biomarkers with applications in oncology and Crohn's disease.
