Alireza Akhondi-Asl is an Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School, a member of the Computational Radiology Laboratory (CRL) at Boston Children's Hospital. He received his PhD and M.Sc. degrees both in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 2009 and 2003, respectively and B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 2000. Between 2008 and 2010, he was a Research Fellow at Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, Michigan.
Currently, his work is focused on:
· Multiple-template-based segmentation and its clinical applications.
· Resting state functional MRI and brain connectivity.
· Multi-exponential fitting and its application in T2 relaxometry and diffusion weighted imaging.
