Rory Piper

Rory Piper is a senior medical student at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK) and a clinical researcher at the Muir Maxwell Epilepsy Centre. He has an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience (BMedSc(hons))(2012).

Rory's research focuses on the application of advanced imaging techniques to improve neurosurgery. He is visiting the Computational Radiology Laboratory to investigate the use of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and tractography in revealing the optic pathway. This research will become an integral component in his pursuit to improve visual field outcomes after epilepsy surgery.
