Bahram Marami is a research fellow in the Computational Radiology Laboratory (CRL) at Boston Children's Hospital. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada in 2013. Before joining the CRL, Bahram was a postdoctoral research fellow at Imaging Research Laboratories, Robarts Research Institute, London, ON, Canada. During his Ph.D. and postdoctoral fellowship he worked on developing novel model-based non-rigid registration techniques to increase targeting accuracy in US/MRI-guided biopsy and therapy of prostate/breast cancer.
Bahram's current research at the CRL focuses on the motion-robust MRI technology development and the analysis of fetal and neonatal brain growth.
