Neculai Archip Burak Erem

Burak Erem is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Computational Radiology Laboratory (CRL) at Children's Hospital Boston. He received a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University (NU) in 2013. He also holds a MS and BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NU. During his PhD, he was a part of the Biomedical Signal Processing, Imaging, Reasoning, and Learning (B-SPIRAL) group at NU and the Center for Integrative Biomedical Computing (CIBC) at the University of Utah.
Burak is interested in prospective and retrospective motion correction in MRI. He has also worked on developing methods for the analysis and functional imaging of bioelectric signals, primarily from the heart (ECG) and brain (EEG).
